About
I have degrees from the University of Wyoming and received my Ph.D. in environmental geography from the University of Calgary (Canada). I taught at Colorado Mesa University and was adjunct assistant professor of environmental engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder. As a hydrologist, I worked for corporations, individuals, and regulatory agencies throughout the Northern Rockies and Interior West on projects related to hardrock and strip coal mining, water, irrigation and agriculture, and environmental policy. In that capacity, I started and managed a consulting firm and subsequently worked for several regional and national engineering firms as a project scientist, eventually rising to the position of chief hydrologist and environmental services manager.
I reside near Durango, Colorado. |
